			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello! I originally wrote this article sometime in the summer of 2010 &#8211; when I was at 38,000 feet. I was somewhere over California &#8211; on a night flight &#8211; flying to Idaho. I clearly remember how I felt when I wrote this&#8230; &#8230;it was dark outside (it was about 11 at night) &#8211; most passengers were asleep &#8211; the cabin lights were off &#8212; and all I could see was the glow of my laptop and the curvature of the earth. It was quite a spiritual feeling I recall&#8230;. And maybe that&#8217;s why I felt inspired to scribble down the following&#8230; I&#8217;ve just finished reading the Go Giver &#8211; by Bob Burg and John David Mann. A beautiful little book about a big idea. The thoughts in this book resonate so strongly with how I feel about business &#8211; that I found myself refusing to sleep &#8211; instead I was bursting with thoughts that I wanted to write down and share. Please allow me a few moments to explain what I mean&#8230; You know the Rolling Stones song &#8216; You can&#8217;t always get what you want&#8217;? Do you think that statement is true? Personally &#8211; I do. In life &#8211; you don&#8217;t always get what you want. But &#8211; have you noticed &#8211; here&#8217;s what you DO get&#8230; You get what you expect. Have you noticed this? I have. Go looking for conflict &#8211; and you&#8217;ll find it. Go looking for frustration &#8211; and you&#8217;ll find it. Go looking for the best in people &#8211; and you&#8217;ll find it. So &#8211; what&#8217;s my point? Everyone here &#8211; myself included &#8211; is here to make money online. And that&#8217;s fine. That said &#8211; I&#8217;m sure many &#8211; myself included &#8211; have a BIGGER picture of what you would like to use the money for &#8211; be it personal &#8211; family &#8211; charity&#8230;. And Internet Marketing can be a real vehicle to get you to your destination quicker (although when I say quicker I am still talking a few years&#8230;) But here&#8217;s the kicker&#8230;. If you are asking yourself &#8216;How can I make money?&#8217; &#8211; then I&#8217;m afraid to say &#8211; and I hate to be harsh here &#8211; but this business is probably not for you. Of course we all want to make money. But your first question should not be &#8216;How can I make money?&#8217; I&#8217;m not saying that is a bad question. Because it&#8217;s not! It&#8217;s actually a great question! But it&#8217;s a bad FIRST question. Do you see the difference? Before we start thinking about the money &#8211; we should be asking ourselves another question.
